Pendula
The Pendula 8 TL is the first of our wall-based loudspeaker Pendula family designed to disappear into architecture—either built flush into the wall or mounted on the surface like an elegant panel—while delivering our award-winning true high-end, emotionally impactful HiFi sound. It carries the natural, balanced voicing and extreme vocal intelligibility of the Aphelia 8, but with the added low-end authority you’d normally expect from a larger floorstanding design.
The “TL” refers to its transmission-line bass loading: a long, tuned internal pathway that controls the woofer’s rear energy to extend bass smoothly and reduce boom—especially important for on-wall and in-wall placement. The second-generation Dynamic Waveguide evenly distributes higher frequencies throughout the room. The result is immersive, even sound, so you don’t have to design your space around a single “best seat.”
Pendula: 1) Latin, meaning “hanging down”—a nod to the speaker’s wall-mounted form. 2) A reference to Australia’s native flora with pendulous leaves, e.g., Acacia pendula and many eucalypts.

Pendula Features
2-way, in-wall or on-wall passive speakers. By using a passive design, you can be sure that the speakers will not become obsolete as amplifier and connectivity technologies improve.
Designed for premium interiors: tall, slim proportions with customisable timber detailing, optional minimalist acoustically transparent cloth grilles, and SpectraFlora’s signature floral laser etching.
Transmission-line bass (the “TL”): extends bass smoothly and reduces boom for deep, controlled low frequencies in wall-based placements—often reducing the need for separate subwoofers.
Next-generation, constant-directivity Dynamic Waveguide engineered to spread sound evenly left-to-right and top-to-bottom, keeping tone consistent across the room even when the front surface sits flush to the wall.
Proven 8-inch graphene-coated magnesium woofer (shared voicing and driver philosophy with our Aphelia 8): fast, rigid and clean, delivering lifelike vocals and realistic instruments.
Quiet, rigid construction: braced plywood enclosure with dense internal damping to minimise cabinet “voice” and preserve clarity and listening ease.
Designed in collaboration with builders for practical installation, including fitting between standard stud centres for straightforward in-wall integration.
Made in Australia: short supply chains, local real people contacts, local support.
